Privacy policy

Commercial software needs a visible privacy surface before customers trust it with their data.

Template copy

This is starter copy, not legal advice. Review it with counsel, and adjust the processors, retention rules and contact address to match your business before you take real payments or data.

Information we collect

Account details you provide when you sign in — name, email address, and the profile fields your sign-in provider shares.

The content of requests you send through the contact form and any replies we exchange.

Subscription, invoice and credit records required to operate billing for paid plans.

Page-view analytics, and only after you explicitly allow analytics consent. Nothing is collected before consent.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, deliver the product, process subscriptions and credit balances, answer support requests, and understand aggregate usage when consent is on.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Account and billing records live in the application database of the deployment that runs this product, hosted with its infrastructure provider.

Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never touch this application's servers.

Analytics events are stored with the analytics provider enabled for this deployment, if any.

Who we share with

Only the processors configured for this deployment: sign-in, payment, email delivery, hosting, and optional analytics. Each processor receives the minimum data needed for its job and acts on our instructions.

Retention and deletion

Billing records are kept as long as accounting rules require them. Everything else is deleted or anonymised when you ask us to delete your account.

Write to support@example.com to request deletion, and we will confirm what was deleted and what must legally be retained.

Your choices

Analytics stays off until you allow it and can be revoked at any time from the analytics preferences entry on this site.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for deletion through the same support address.
